Bookmark Merge Map does not upload your bookmark files. Parsing, comparison, review, and file generation happen inside your browser.

Data stored on your device

The app stores your two imported HTML files and review settings in your browser’s IndexedDB so an interrupted merge can be recovered. The service worker also caches the app shell and illustration for offline use. You can remove the working data with “Start over,” or clear this site’s browser storage.

Data we receive

This version has no accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, external fonts, or server API. Normal web-server access logs may temporarily contain standard request information such as IP address, user agent, requested path, and time. Bookmark content is never part of those requests.

Your exports

Merged HTML and review CSV files are generated locally and downloaded only when you ask. You control where those files go and whether to import them into a browser.

For privacy questions, open an issue in the project’s public source repository. Do not attach private bookmark exports.
